Snploc™ makes plumbing easy. The Snploc patent, its manufacture, and marketing is currently being developed through a Small Manufacturing and Recycling Enterprise (SMRE). The SMRE business plan is being developed along with the Snploc product line and marketing. Once the SMPRE business plan is verified the template will then be franchised into a network of SMREs for manufacturing. Why develop, manufacture, and market Snploc using this strategy? Because, this business model will lower costs, provide start up support, operating support, and create a full cycle recycling process that will lower unemployment, raise labor force participation, increase real estate values, and create better occupational opportunities in small to medium economies. Operating under these social and environmental imperatives will provide a competitive edge.
Developing, manufacturing, and marketing Snploc plumbing fittings addresses the following needs:
- PVC plastics are not currently being recycled due to the difficulty of chemically breaking it down into its constituents. It is often incinerated releasing dioxins. Snploc will renew this pernicious waste into new products using only physical processes avoiding these difficulties.
- Waste PVC is created by plumbers, electricians, farmers, ranchers and it is not recycled. Because it originates in the building trades, it can remain unmixed from the rest of the municipal waste stream by behavioral changes in a relatively small population. The resulting pure waste stream is then transformed into high value products using physical processes.
- Small town economic opportunities are limited. Snploc’s SMREs, will help revive local and regional circular economies by lowering unemployment, raising labor force participation, increasing real estate values, and creating better occupational opportunities.
- Public school students in small and medium economies have limited job training opportunities within the schools. Snploc’s SMRE business model will create and broaden job skills training opportunities.
- Small communities are shut out of the development, manufacturing, and marketing of new products due to limited access to business plans, equipment, technology, and intellectual property (IP). Franchise and networking of SMPRE’s for the development of Snploc will provide high quality, cost effective business plans, equipment, technology, and IP enabling further design of new technologies, products, and markets.
